Central Office Staff
Tom Geary, Superintendent
I am proud to serve as Superintendent of Lynnfield Public Schools, where I have worked since 2006. Over the course of my career in Lynnfield, I have served as Director of Finance, Assistant Superintendent, and now Superintendent. These experiences have given me a broad perspective on our schools and a deep appreciation for the people who make them special.
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University, a Master of Education in Educational Administration from UMass Lowell, and a Certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard University.
I believe strong schools are built on high expectations, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a focus on doing what is best for students. My connection to the district extends beyond my role as Superintendent. I live in town with my family, and my children attend our schools. Being both Superintendent and a parent gives me a personal stake in our schools’ success and a daily reminder of how much this work matters.
I am fortunate to work alongside dedicated educators, administrators, families, and community members who share a commitment to helping our students succeed. It is a responsibility I take seriously and a privilege I do not take for granted. Together, we can ensure that every student has the support and opportunities they need to reach their full potential.
Annmarie McCormick, Assistant to the Superintendent

Adam Federico, Assistant Superintendent
As the Assistant Superintendent of Lynnfield Public Schools, I bring more than two decades of experience in education and school leadership. I earned degrees from Colgate University and Boston University and began my career as a special education teacher, girls' basketball coach, and football coach in the Melrose Public Schools.
After earning my Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study from Salem State University, I held several administrative leadership positions, including Assistant Principal at Lynnfield Middle School, Principal of Holten Richmond Middle School, and Principal of Danvers High School.
In 2024, I was excited to return to Lynnfield Public Schools as Assistant Superintendent, where I support district-wide curriculum, instruction, professional development, and strategic planning. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to academic excellence, creating inclusive learning environments, and fostering meaningful collaboration among educators, students, families, and the community. I look forward to continuing this work and helping all students in Lynnfield thrive.

Jennifer O’Connell, Director of Student Services
Now in my second year with Lynnfield Public Schools, I bring 24 years of experience in education, including 14 years as a Director of Student Services. Throughout my career, I have remained passionate about creating supportive, inclusive school communities where every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders, a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Educational Leadership. Experiences as both a clinician and a school and district administrator have shaped my collaborative, student-centered approach to supporting students, families, and educators.
Beginning my career as a Speech-Language Pathologist and Reading Specialist provided a strong foundation for understanding the diverse needs of students and the importance of individualized support. From there, I moved into school administration as an elementary school Assistant Principal before transitioning to district-level leadership.
I look forward to strengthening the relationships and partnerships developed throughout the district. It is a privilege to work alongside students, families, educators, and community members in support of the academic, social, and emotional growth of every student.

Rochelle Cooper - Director of Technology
I started my career at Lynnfield Public Schools 25 years ago, and I am proud to now serve as the district’s Director of Technology. Throughout my years at LPS, I have remained committed to supporting students, staff, and families by creating meaningful opportunities through supporting, tutoring, teaching and now...technology.
In my current role, I focus on ensuring that our students have access to innovative digital learning experiences, our educators have the tools and support they need to enhance teaching and learning, and our families have reliable, accessible ways to stay connected with our schools. I am passionate about building a technology-rich learning environment that is safe, inclusive, and prepares our students for the future.
It is a privilege to continue serving the Lynnfield community and to help shape the future of technology and digital learning in our schools.
