THIS YEAR'S SUMMER INSTITUTE OPPORTUNITIES WILL BE LIMITED.

  • Before submitting a proposal, consult with your curriculum leader and/or Principal.

  • Curriculum Leaders and Principals will approve proposals based on building priorities.

PROPOSALS DUE BY FRIDAY, MAY 24 (TEACHPOINT)

Product Requirements:

  • Consult with Curriculum Leader and/or Principal to ensure alignment with District Strategy and School Improvement Plan(s)

  • Go above and beyond the typical teacher's responsibilities

  • Completed outside of contractual hours

  • Submit proposals as individuals (even if working on a team) - this is how we track payment

  • 10-hour cap for payment ($40/hour) with some exceptions (e.g. PD Steering Committee)

APPROVAL AND SUBMISSION PROCESS

Assuming all individuals (even if working on a team) submitted a proposal, it will trigger the following:

  • Approval queue consisting of Curriculum Leaders (if applicable), Principal, and the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning

  • In order to receive PDPs and timely payment (check date 8/22), final products must be submitted by August 2 via this Google form (if already reflected in Atlas, may just designate so on form "see Atlas")
