Overview of SMART Goals Process

We have further streamlined our SMART Goal and evidence collection process for the 2022-2023 school year based on your feedback. Educators will now complete their respective SMART Goals and evidence collection through ONE form only in TeachPoint.

  1. Educators will develop SMART Goals by September 9, 2022, through completion of the SMART Goals/Educator Plan Summary form in TeachPoint.

  2. Educators will share the SMART Goals/Evidence Collection form in TeachPoint with their evaluator in preparation for their SMART Goals initial meeting (this will occur by October 7, 2022). Educators only need to prepare SMART Goals for this initial meeting - evidence collection occurs later depending on your Educator Plan.

  3. SMART Goals should be aligned to both the LPS Vision, District Strategy and School Improvement Plan.
